The Post Office Shop website is the property of the company East End.

All transactions on the Post Office Shop website is subject to Japanese law. Every order made by a customer (i.e. you) entails the explicit acceptance of the general conditions described below.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

1. Shipping
Once your order is processed, your purchase will be dispatched within 2 to 4 working days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation mail, which includes information such as tracking number, at that time.

All products are dispatched from Japan by EMS (Japan Post). Please consult the We Ship Worldwide page for a list of countries we ship to, as well as what to do if your country is not on the list. 

EMS is a top speed international mail service that delivers to over 120 countries and territories  worldwide.
EMS has a both a tracking system and an insurance system (in case of loss or damage up to 20.000 yen).
With this service, delivery usually takes about 4 to 6 days to Europe and North America.

 

2. Shipping Cost
Shipping costs vary according to the parcel's weight and the area of shipment you want.
To know how much the shipping cost is, simply add your items to the cart, and shipping cost will be displayed under the section "Shipping Method", after entering your country and zip code.

3. Delivery Problems
Customers are responsible for their order's online tracking (the tracking number is included in the order confirmation). Sometimes, carriers cannot deliver a parcel (for instance, due to the size of the mailbox), in that case, customers may have to contact carriers directly.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

All prices are listed in Japanese Yen. Shipping and handling charges (included taxes which depend on countries) are not included in the listed price. Shipping charges are clearly indicated during the ordering process.
All credit card transactions are processed securely by PayPal and Webpay (Japanese Payment Gateway Service). It is not necessary to have a PayPal account in order to make a payment.
The Post Office Shop does not keep any record of your credit card or other financial information. All financial transactions are encrypted securely and handled by PayPal and WebPay.

All information about payment will be sent along with an invoice email after your order has been accepted and processed.



RETURN AND CANCELATION POLICY

We DO NOT accept return and exchange for international order.
Acceptable reasons for returns are : factory defects, item of a wrong color or size was sent, or error on our part.Exchange can be made only if the item or items are in unworn/unused condition.

In the case your item is damaged during shipping, please e-mail us within 5 days and immediately file a damage report at your local post office. Once the local post office files a damage report, they will ship your item back to Japan at no charge. After we receive the damaged item and damage report, we will refund the full amount of the item, including all shipping charges. In the case the item delivered is not what you ordered, notify us within 5 days of arrival and ship it back to The Post office Shop within 7 days after notifying us. We do not deal with items that are not claimed within the assigned period. Please verify all items upon delivery. If you should have any further questions, please email us.

TAXES & CUSTOM FEES

Please be aware that in all cases the customer is responsible for paying Customs fees and for providing any and all documents required by Customs in your country. If the customer refuses to pay those taxes, the package will be back to us. We'll then refund you the amount of the order, after having withdrawn the shipping cost at actual rate that we have been charged by the carrier, and the shipping cost of the return of the package to us.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All the texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on the website www.thepostoffcie.jp are reserved for the title of the royalty and intellectual document of title worldwide. The reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of the content of this site is strictly prohibited, unless already authorized by The Post Office Shop.

PRIVACY POLICIES

The Post office Shop respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. Therefore, we will only collect and use information through our web site in the ways described in this policy.

The Post office Shop uses Shopify.com as a third-party gateway and PayPal and Webpay for credit card clearing. At no time does The Post Office Shop have access to your credit card number. In order to solve possible conflicts and to combat online payment fraud, the data concerning your order may be sent on to secure third parties for verification purposes.

We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. We will not sell or disclose personal information that identifies you to a third party at all. From time to time we may send you an email newsletter if you accepted it. If you do not wish to receive these emails, let us know and we’ll remove you from our list.
